Air Lease Corporation (ALC) has delivered one new Airbus A220-300 aircraft to Croatia Airlines. This is the first A220 to join the Croatian carrier's fleet and the first of six new A220 aircraft scheduled for delivery to the airline from ALC's orderbook with Airbus.
Steven F. Udvar-Házy, Executive Chairman of Air Lease Corporation, expressed honour in being chosen by Croatia Airlines to introduce the A220 to its fleet, supporting the airline's major fleet modernisation programme.
David Beker, Executive Vice President of Air Lease Corporation, congratulated the airline on the first A220 delivery, highlighting the expected improvements in passenger comfort and experience, as well as the financial and environmental benefits of the modern, technologically advanced aircraft.
Jasmin Bajić, President and CEO of Croatia Airlines, stated that this day marks the beginning of a new era in the history of Croatia Airlines, Croatian aviation, and the Croatian state. He also thanked Air Lease Corporation, Airbus, and Pratt & Whitney for their cooperation and contribution to creating a state-of-the-art aircraft that everyone involved can be proud of.
