Comtech, a global leader in technology, has announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters from Melville, New York, to Chandler, Arizona. The new headquarters in Chandler spans approximately 150,000 ft², featuring state-of-the-art office, engineering, and manufacturing space. This modern facility is designed to enhance operations, foster collaboration and accelerate the delivery of innovative technologies, systems and services to customers across global markets.
The decision to move the headquarters to Chandler, first revealed in March 2024, reflects Comtech’s ongoing commitment to optimising its corporate infrastructure and strengthening its culture of innovation. Chandler is already home to several of Comtech’s largest customers and offers convenient access to a leading technology corridor, renowned for producing the talent required to advance the company’s vision. This vision is centred on delivering reliable and resilient communications solutions to both commercial and government clients worldwide.
“Chandler has established itself as a leading technology corridor in the United States,” said John Ratigan, Interim CEO of Comtech. “We are thrilled to expand our presence in Arizona and excited to benefit from the City of Chandler’s unwavering commitment to innovation. This strategic move marks a significant milestone for the company, and our new headquarters will play a central role in helping Comtech deliver resilient, network-agnostic, software-defined communications capabilities to some of the world’s most demanding customers, including the Department of Defense (DoD).”
To commemorate the occasion, the company has hosted a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke and other prominent Arizona business and community leaders. Although Comtech began welcoming employees to its new Chandler office in 2023, the company has had a presence in Arizona and has been serving local commercial, defence and government customers for over 25 years.
