SR Technics has announced the appointment of Florent Leforestier as the new Senior Vice President of Procurement, effective September 1 2024. He succeeds Fritz Beiner, who is pursuing a new opportunity outside the company.

Florent Leforestier brings over 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry, including more than a decade at SR Technics supporting engine MRO activities. During his tenure, he has successfully managed customer services, product development, and most recently, led the industrialisation of the GTF and LEAP engine programmes.

Michael Brunnschweiler, currently VP of Programmes, will assume the role of VP of New Engines, also effective September 1 2024, to continue the successful implementation of the GTF and LEAP engine platforms. Michael joined SR Technics in April 2024, after 19 years with Pratt & Whitney, where he most recently served as Regional Manager GTF Europe & America.

“Our talent management programme and commitment to our employees have yielded two talented successors from within our own ranks,” stated Owen McClave, CEO of SR Technics.

“I am excited to take on this role and eager to build on our current successes, leading strategic initiatives that will further strengthen our supply chain and maximise value,” said Leforestier.
