Volar Air Mobility and Etihad Aviation Training (EAT) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation on advanced electric aircraft operations. The agreement aims to leverage both organisations’ expertise through information exchange and joint initiatives, advancing the UAE’s aviation sector.
The MoU signing was witnessed by HE Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority, and HE Mohammed Abdulla Al Salami, Chairman of Fujairah Department of Civil Aviation.
The focus of the MoU includes research and development in electric aircraft operations, innovative sustainability projects, and regulatory engagement with UAE authorities. This collaboration supports the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 agenda and promotes advanced air mobility solutions contributing to the nation’s sustainability goals.
