Falko Regional Aircraft Limited (Falko), the asset manager and lessor dedicated to regional aircraft, has acquired eleven Embraer E-Jet aircraft from Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) under a sale and purchase agreement signed in March. This acquisition includes a mix of E175, E190 and E195 models currently leased to LOT Polish Airlines, Poland's national carrier.
Mark Hughes, Falko's Chief Commercial Officer, noted the successful completion of this acquisition, which brings the total number of LOT-leased aircraft in Falko's managed portfolio to 16 E-Jets, positioning LOT as one of Falko's leading European clients. Hughes highlighted the E-Jet's strategic role in LOT's operations across Central Europe, where LOT maintains a leading position in regional flight frequency. He expressed gratitude to both LOT and NAC for their cooperation in finalising the transaction.
Falko, a subsidiary of Chorus Aviation Inc. (listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange), remains focused on expanding its regional aircraft portfolio and enhancing its lease management services.
