SOF Connect has entered into a strategic partnership with SITA, the air transport technology company, to revolutionise Sofia Airport's operations through the design and implementation of a state-of-the-art Airport Operations Management System.

The agreement includes the installation of a high-availability, top-tier Flight Information Display System (FIDS) at Sofia Airport.
SITA will deliver a customised technological solution designed to optimise the airport's operational efficiency. This includes developing over 20 interfaces with existing ICT systems at Sofia Airport, ensuring seamless integration and smooth functionality across all operational areas.
This collaboration enhances Bulgaria's regional leadership in air travel by introducing global best practices, fostering local expertise in aviation technology and improving passenger experiences with modernised systems. Furthermore, it supports sustainability and innovation, aligning with Bulgaria's broader development goals.
