IAG Cargo, the cargo division of International Airlines Group (IAG), has introduced a new role, Head of Digital Sales, appointing Daniel Rodriguez to lead the position. This strategic move reflects IAG Cargo's focus on expanding its digital capabilities to better serve customers and adapt to the changing logistics environment.
The role will enhance IAG Cargo's online platform, allowing customers worldwide to book, amend and cancel shipments with greater flexibility. Camilo Garcia Cervera, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at IAG Cargo, highlighted the importance of digital transformation in meeting customer needs, expressing confidence in Rodriguez's leadership to advance the company's digital sales strategy.
Rodriguez, who has been part of IAG Cargo since 2018, brings extensive market experience to the position, officially beginning his tenure on December 2, 2024. He emphasised his enthusiasm for driving innovation to optimise efficiency and improve customer experience, stating, “Our goal is to fully leverage the tools available to us, ensuring that we future-proof the business by utilising digital means to optimise our offering to customers.”
