TRIGO, a global pioneer in quality management for the transportation industry, has announced the acquisition of Controreupe, a specialist non-destructive testing (NDT) company based in Saint-Geneviève-des-Bois, France. With support from law firm Ginestié-Paley-Vincent, this move bolsters TRIGO's position in industrial quality control and broadens its service portfolio within the aerospace and defence sectors.
Controreupe brings 30 years of expertise to TRIGO, generating annual revenues of €3 million through advanced NDT methods such as penetrant testing and 3D measurement of complex components. These techniques ensure the safety and reliability of aerospace and railway systems by detecting microscopic defects and delivering precise dimensional assessments without compromising component integrity.
The acquisition is a key step in TRIGO's strategic plan to enhance its component inspection, control, and testing solutions. This comes as its Aerospace, Defence, and Rail (ADR) division recently surpassed €100 million in annual revenue, achieving growth of over 20%. By 2030, TRIGO aims to triple Controreupe's revenue and create over 30 new roles, primarily for metrologists and NDT technicians, while expanding its 3D testing and measurement services to reach €100 million in revenue through organic growth and further acquisitions.
Lucile Crayssac, who joined TRIGO in 2015, has been appointed Managing Director of Controreupe. With over two decades of experience in the aerospace industry and a successful track record as international Business Manager in TRIGO's Aerospace and Defence division, Crayssac will lead the integration and growth of Controreupe within TRIGO's operations.
