Airbus Helicopters has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) to continue supporting its fleet of MH-65 Dolphin helicopters until 2037. The agreement emphasises Airbus’ commitment to ensuring the mission readiness of the USCG’s fleet as it carries out vital search and rescue, law enforcement, and disaster response operations.
Under the new agreement, Airbus Helicopters will provide enhanced maintenance, spare parts and technical support to maximise the availability and performance of the MH-65 fleet. Additionally, the MOU includes provisions for fleet modernisation and engineering services aimed at extending the operational life of the aircraft.
