AJW Group has announced the award of a long-term power-by-the-hour (PBH) support contract for Canadian carrier Air Transat covering its fleet of A321ceos and A320neos.
AJW Group has maintained a trusted partnership with Air Transat since 2013, initially supporting its Airbus A330 fleet. This latest agreement marks an expansion of that collaboration, now encompassing a comprehensive PBH support programme tailored to the airline's growing narrow-body operations.
Under the terms of the contract, AJW Group will oversee the full supply chain management, including the repair, overhaul and warranty support of rotable components for Air Transat's fleet. These services will cover the airline's primary hub in Montreal, as well as its operational bases in Toronto and Vancouver.
A key feature of the agreement is the integration of AJW Group's in-house MRO capabilities via AJW Technique. Located in close proximity to Air Transat's operations, the facility offers advanced repair services across a wide range of components. This geographic advantage enables efficient maintenance processes, fast turnaround times, and seamless coordination, thereby reinforcing AJW's commitment to service excellence and customer-focused solutions.
This contract further highlights AJW Group's ability to deliver flexible and bespoke support programmes that meet the evolving needs of today's airlines, while strengthening its presence in the North American market.
