Dynamatic Technologies Limited, an Indian aerostructure manufacturer, and Deutsche Aircraft, the German regional aircraft OEM championing sustainable aviation, have officially inaugurated the rear fuselage assembly line for the 40-seater D328eco® turboprop aircraft at Dynamatic's cutting-edge aerospace facility in Bangalore.
This inauguration marks the shift from the planning and design phase to serial manufacturing, highlighting India's growing prominence in world-class aerospace engineering and production. The milestone is a result of the strategic partnership formed in 2024 and further strengthened at Aero India 2025, where both companies reaffirmed their joint commitment to developing the rear fuselage for the D328eco®.
The launch event was graced by Tobias Gotthardt, State Secretary of the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, who officially opened the assembly line. Also in attendance were Nico Neumann, Co-CEO of Deutsche Aircraft, and Udayant Malhoutra, CEO and Managing Director of Dynamatic Technologies Limited.
This development marks a significant advancement in the Indo-European aerospace partnership, fostering international collaboration, high-skilled employment, and the transfer of advanced technology. It also strengthens the transnational supply chain between India and Germany, the European Union's largest economy.
The collaboration between Dynamatic and Deutsche Aircraft exemplifies a shared commitment to sustainable and innovative regional aviation. The inauguration of the assembly line not only accelerates the D328eco® programme but also underscores the broader ambition to create a more connected, environmentally conscious future for the global aerospace industry.
