EGYPTAIR MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING (EGYPTAIR M&E) has successfully renewed its certification from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the 15th consecutive year, reaffirming the company's unwavering commitment to the highest international standards of safety and quality in aircraft maintenance.
The renewal follows an extensive on-site audit carried out by a team of FAA inspectors across EGYPTAIR M&Es facilities.
Eng. Ibrahim Fathy, Chairman & CEO of EGYPTAIR M&E, stated, “Successfully passing this rigorous on-site inspection is a powerful testament to our team's dedication to implementing cutting-edge technologies and best practices in aircraft maintenance. The direct engagement with FAA inspectors and their thorough examination of our processes underscore the transparency and reliability that define our operations. Maintaining this vital certification significantly bolsters our competitive edge in the global MRO market.”
The comprehensive audit involved an in-depth evaluation and site visits to Quality Assurance, Maintenance Safety, aircraft maintenance hangars, technical and spare parts warehouses, as well as workshops specialising in the overhaul and repair of mechanical and electrical aircraft components. The inspection also assessed the training programmes and equipment used at the facility.
This continued FAA approval reinforces EGYPTAIR M&E's standing as a leading and trusted maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider, dedicated to upholding global aviation safety standards.
