AAR CORP. has entered into a supply chain alliance charter with the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation’s Supply Center in Richmond, Virginia. This agreement marks a significant milestone, as AAR becomes DLA Richmond’s first official supply chain alliance partner.

The charter aims to streamline and enhance efficiency throughout the DLA’s procurement operations. By establishing a centralised system for managing contract quotes, awards and execution, AAR is poised to deliver a more agile and resilient logistics service. This strategic partnership is designed to ensure rapid response and robust support for the U.S. warfighter, aligning with the broader goals of military readiness and national defence strategy.

Through its advanced distribution services, AAR will manage critical supply chains, addressing the urgent needs of DLA Aviation and supporting the operational readiness of the armed forces. This collaboration builds upon a previous charter signed between AAR and DLA Maritime in September 2024, where the focus was on improving readiness via a strategic stocking model and accelerating contract award procedures.

Frank Landrio, AAR’s Senior Vice President of Distribution, emphasised the significance of the partnership, stating that it will facilitate more efficient operations and contribute meaningfully to national defence priorities.

This latest agreement underscores AAR’s growing role as a trusted logistics and distribution partner within the U.S. defence sector, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, reliability, and mission-critical support.
