Aventure Aviation (Aventure) has announced the acquisition of its 26th B737NG airframe. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-700 with manufacturer serial number (MSN) 30280, was previously operated by Southwest Airlines and is now set to be dismantled by Ascent Aviation Services in Marana, Arizona.
The acquisition is part of Aventure's strategic focus on meeting the global demand for B737NG components, particularly at a time when supply chain challenges and limited teardown opportunities continue to impact availability. The company aims to support operators facing delays in original equipment manufacturer (OEM) deliveries by maintaining a robust stock of serviceable parts.
“This strategic acquisition underscores Aventure Aviation's ongoing dedication to supporting its global base of B737NG customers,” said Andrew Crombie, Director of Asset Management. He noted that as OEM and supply chain issues persist, acquiring teardown assets such as this airframe is critical to maintaining reliable parts support.
Aventure also continues to develop its aviation investment platform, which offers customised solutions for investors and leasing firms. President Talha Faruqi highlighted the company's expertise in teardown management, capital deployment, asset oversight, and material consignments as attractive services for those seeking to diversify their portfolios.
In addition to this latest purchase, Aventure is actively engaging with aircraft owners, lessors, financial institutions, and airlines to explore viable teardown solutions for parked or underutilised aircraft. These efforts are designed to generate value from idle assets while supporting long-term sustainability in the aviation aftermarket.
