Ascend Airways has chosen an all-inclusive wheels and brakes support programme from TP Aerospace, offering an ideal solution that brings both financial and operational benefits through predictable pricing and a high degree of flexibility and reliability.
Established in 2024, Ascend Airways provides wet lease capacity for mainstream carriers and represents the UK market as part of Avia Solutions Group, an ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) provider. The airline joins a growing number of ACMI operators in TP Aerospace's portfolio, which already includes Australian-based Skytrans, added earlier this year, and long-standing Lithuanian customer Avion Express – both also part of the Avia Solutions Group.
Vice President of Global Programme Sales, Philip Broskov Hansen, expressed satisfaction with the new partnership, highlighting TP Aerospace's comprehensive wheels and brakes support programme as a strong fit for Ascend Airways. “Backed by our global network and strategically positioned facilities we are well-equipped to deliver seamless support and enhanced operational efficiency for Ascend Airways' expanding B737MAX fleet and route network in support of their very diverse customer base. This collaboration reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.”
“As our fleet continues to expand, we are looking forward to working together with TP Aerospace on their all-inclusive Program. This partnership supports our B737MAX fleet highlighting the importance to Ascend Airways of product reliability and with the flexibility to support our ACMI operations in worldwide locations”, comments Head of Supply Chain, Alastair Johnson.
Service and support will be provided from TP Aerospace's UK facility in East Midlands. The programme is already underway.
