Vietravel Airlines has renewed its passenger service system (PSS) agreement with Sabre Corporation (Sabre) for another five years, reinforcing its trust in the Radixx platform as a core driver of the airline's expansion plans.
The airline plays a key role within the aviation and logistics ecosystem of T&T Group. This strategic relationship was cemented in December 2024 when T&T Group became a strategic shareholder in Vietravel Airlines, making T&T the first conglomerate in Vietnam to simultaneously own both airport and airline assets. T&T is now advancing an investment strategy aimed at positioning Vietravel Airlines as a leading regional carrier, with ambitions to scale both passenger services and air cargo operations.
Vu Dao Duc, CEO of Vietravel Airlines, stated: “Extending our partnership with Sabre is an important step as we move into the next phase of our journey. The Radixx platform has equipped us for scale, while enhancing the service experience for our passengers. As we continue to grow, we're confident Sabre's technology will continue to power our ambitions.”
Sabre's Radixx PSS provides comprehensive solutions covering retailing, passenger servicing, and operational management. Vietravel Airlines will continue using a broad suite of advanced Radixx technology, including Radixx Res for core passenger services and retailing, Radixx EzyCommerce for digital engagement across multiple channels, Radixx Go for efficient airport and departure control, and Radixx Insight for data-driven decision-making.
The technology also offers options to expand into loyalty and data services, as well as access to new revenue through Global Distribution System (GDS) networks and interline or codeshare partnerships. Furthermore, the recent integration of Sabre's Payment Gateway into the Radixx PSS enhances the airline's payment capabilities, offering greater flexibility and a wider range of payment options for customers.
