Eve Air Mobility (Eve) has signed its first binding framework agreement with Revo, an urban air mobility (UAM) operator based in São Paulo, Brazil, and its parent company, Helicopters International SA (OHI). This landmark agreement includes the purchase of up to 50 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, alongside entry-into-service support and aftermarket services. The deal marks a major shift for Eve, moving from the development phase into full-scale execution, and reinforcing its position as a key player in the next generation of air transport.
The partnership with Revo and OHI signifies growing confidence in Eve’s aircraft technology and operational model. Johann Bordais, CEO of Eve Air Mobility, commented, “This binding agreement with Revo and OHI is a pivotal step for Eve, demonstrating growing market confidence in our technology and operational model. By moving from concept to implementation, we are not only advancing our commercial roadmap but also helping to shape a robust and sustainable UAM ecosystem, setting a global benchmark for eVTOL deployment.”
As part of the agreement, Revo will serve as the launch operator for Eve’s eVTOL fleet in São Paulo, with the first deliveries expected in the fourth quarter of 2027. The city, one of the world’s most advanced aerial mobility markets, already handles nearly 2,000 daily helicopter take-offs and landings and has over 400 registered helicopters.
Revo currently offers a door-to-door mobility service that integrates ground transport with scheduled helicopter flights between key destinations in southeast Brazil. A prime example is the high-traffic route between Zona Sul and GRU International Airport, which can take up to three hours by car but just ten minutes by air. With the introduction of Eve’s all-electric aircraft, these services will become entirely sustainable, enhancing passenger experience while supporting São Paulo’s broader environmental and transport goals.
