Airhub Aviation, a subsidiary of GetJet Aviation Holdings, has entered into a multi-year commercial framework agreement with Airbus to access a comprehensive suite of engineering and upgrade services. This partnership marks a substantial step in Airhub’s long-term strategy of investing in midlife and end-of-life Airbus aircraft, enhancing its ability to manage and transition aviation assets efficiently.
The agreement provides Airhub Aviation with direct access to Airbus’ OEM-certified modifications. These include advanced navigation systems, safety enhancements, and performance upgrades, particularly those enabling aircraft cargo conversions and improving operational flexibility. By eliminating third-party intermediaries, Airhub expects to benefit from quicker implementation timelines, increased reliability, and assured quality.
Oleg Novak, Managing Director of Airhub Aviation, highlighted the benefits of this direct relationship, stating that it “ensures optimal lead times and access to the highest quality services.” He emphasised that this direct collaboration supports the company’s asset management model, which spans the full aircraft lifecycle—from acquisition and operation to maintenance and end-of-life strategies.
Airhub’s in-house capabilities, combined with the integration of Airbus-certified enhancements, will strengthen its comprehensive 360° service model. This holistic approach aims to deliver sustained value by extending aircraft lifespan, reducing operational downtime, and preserving asset marketability.
The framework agreement not only enhances Airhub’s technical competencies but also underlines its commitment to delivering high-value aviation solutions. As the industry increasingly focuses on sustainability and lifecycle optimisation, the partnership positions Airhub Aviation to meet evolving market demands while boosting its competitiveness in the aviation asset management and leasing sector.
