Magnetic Line, a part of the Magnetic Group, has entered into a new line maintenance agreement with Oman Air, strengthening their professional ties. The contract, effective from July 1, sees Magnetic Line delivering full technical handling services for Oman Air’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (equipped with GEnx engines) at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS). The support will be provided four-times weekly and is set to run for two consecutive years.
This latest agreement marks the second time the two companies have worked together, following a previous partnership that saw Magnetic Line delivering line maintenance services for Oman Air at several stations across Africa. The renewed collaboration highlights the trust and confidence Oman Air places in Magnetic Line’s technical capabilities and service reliability.
Guido Heemskerk, Commercial Manager at Magnetic Line, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “For us, it’s all about long-term partnerships, and our revived collaboration symbolizes it, as we had worked with Oman Air earlier on supporting their operations at two African stations. This time, we will provide full-scope of line maintenance support for their operations based at Amsterdam airport.”
Oman Air, headquartered in Muscat, is the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman. Since its establishment in 1993, the carrier has built a strong international presence, connecting Oman to cities such as London, Milan, and Dubai. Operating a fleet of fuel-efficient, state-of-the-art aircraft, Oman Air continues to position itself as a key player in global aviation.
This latest partnership reaffirms Magnetic Line’s commitment to expanding its European presence while underlining the importance of trusted, long-term maintenance support in the aviation industry.
