Air Astana has entered into a strategic partnership with flydocs to implement a comprehensive digital records management (DRM) solution across its fleet of over 60 aircraft. The collaboration is designed to digitise the airline’s records management processes, aligning with its broader goals of operational efficiency, sustainability, and digital transformation.
This agreement will see flydocs’ software integrated with Air Astana’s existing maintenance and engineering (M&E) systems, including TRAX, allowing for seamless digital record-keeping and real-time data access. The solution is expected to significantly improve maintenance data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and overall workflow efficiency.
From Air Astana’s perspective, the move complements its wider digital transformation efforts. Pratap Shetty, Director of IT Operations and Engineering Systems, noted the airline’s ongoing pursuit of technologies that align with its business strategy. He said the partnership with flydocs not only helps to streamline maintenance record management but also supports the airline’s ambition to improve customer service, achieve sustainable growth, and leverage advanced technologies to stay competitive.
