Condor is continuing its strategic growth in the long-haul market with an order for four additional Airbus A330-900neo aircraft. Approved by the airline’s Supervisory Board, this latest acquisition expands Condor’s A330neo fleet to a total of 25 by 2031. The carrier currently operates 18 of these next-generation aircraft, with three more scheduled for delivery by the end of 2027.
This summer marks a significant milestone for Condor, as all its long-haul services will be operated exclusively with brand-new A330neo aircraft, enhancing passenger comfort and operational efficiency. The airline also holds options for four further aircraft, though no final decision has been made regarding additional orders.
Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor, said: “By ordering additional long-haul aircraft, we intend to open up new opportunities in the international business and continue the successful strategy of growth seen in recent years.” He noted that for the first time, the airline now offers a fully standardised product across all long-haul destinations, contributing to customer satisfaction and stable operations.
The expanded A330neo fleet supports not only long-haul development but also strengthens connectivity via Condor’s new European city destinations, which act as feeder routes into its international network.
Passengers benefit from a premium travel experience on board the A330neo, which features generous cabin space, seamless connectivity and complimentary in-flight entertainment. The aircraft are powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines and can operate with up to 50 percent sustainable aviation fuels, aligning with Condor’s commitment to environmentally responsible travel.
