Godrej Enterprises Group (Godrej) has secured a contract from Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, to produce complex aerospace parts for engine applications. This development aligns with Godrej’s strategy to become a key supplier to global aircraft engine original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and significantly expands its technological capabilities and production volumes.
Maneck Behramkamdin, Business Head of Godrej’s Aerospace division, highlighted the strategic importance of the deal, stating, “For decades, Godrej has been at the forefront of high-precision manufacturing, contributing to India’s aerospace ambitions and self-reliance in critical technologies. Godrej currently operates around 35,000 m² of aerospace manufacturing space across India, with an additional 48,500 m² under development. This investment in infrastructure reflects the company’s vision of elevating India’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities to a global level while increasing its participation in the worldwide supply chain for complex aviation technologies. The collaboration with Pratt & Whitney is expected to accelerate this vision and open new opportunities for innovation and growth.
