Kuehne+Nagel is working with MTU Maintenance Lease Services (MLS) to open a new fulfilment centre in Zhuhai, China, supporting the management of aero engine parts supply. The strategic facility reinforces the long-standing partnership between the two companies and is central to improving MLS’ global logistics operations.
The MLS fulfilment centre is strategically situated in Zhuhai, within the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, and supports material supply across the region. It complements MLS’ existing parts hubs in the Netherlands and the United States, creating a globally integrated logistics network that provides fast and reliable access to essential components.
Operated by Kuehne+Nagel, the facility is designed to the highest standards of speed, compliance, and reliability. It offers bonded storage and provides same-day or 24-hour dispatch throughout the year, ensuring continuous support for urgent line-replaceable-unit (LRU) needs and time-critical operations, including aircraft-on-ground (AOG) situations.
“MLS operates in a highly dynamic and time-sensitive environment, and we are proud to provide the logistics expertise that supports their global operations and responsiveness,” said Damian Raczynski, Head of Contract Logistics, Kuehne+Nagel Asia Pacific.
“With fulfilment centres strategically located around the globe, we are uniquely positioned to respond swiftly to customer needs, no matter where they are,” comments Patrick Biebel, Managing Director of MLS: “The Zhuhai facility exemplifies our commitment to providing rapid and reliable access to essential engine parts, which minimises operational downtime and ensures efficient support for our customers within China and the APAC region.”
This partnership also reflects Kuehne+Nagel’s continued commitment to the aerospace sector, offering scalable, end-to-end logistics solutions that combine global reach with local execution.
