Menzies Aviation, an Agility Global company, has completed the US$305 million acquisition of G2 Secure Staff, a major aviation services provider in the United States. The deal strengthens Menzies’ position as the world’s largest aviation services provider, now operating at 350 airports across 65 countries with a workforce of 65,000. It is expected to boost group revenue by 20%, taking it to more than US$3.1 billion based on FY2024 figures.
The acquisition positions Menzies as the leading provider by number of airports served in the U.S., the world’s largest aviation market. Combining Menzies and G2 adds operational resilience and new capabilities in ground services, including passenger assistance and cabin cleaning, complementing Menzies’ existing ground, air cargo, and fuel services portfolio.
John Redmond, Menzies’ Executive Vice President Americas, will continue to lead the region, supported by G2 senior management joining his team. The merger doubles Menzies’ U.S. footprint to over 110 locations, including key hubs such as Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport and Denver International Airport.
Executives emphasise that the merger is not just about scale but about creating high-readiness infrastructure to meet growing airline demand for seamless, multi-airport service coverage. It provides an opportunity to raise standards across the U.S. and globally through training, safety, sustainability initiatives and technology rollout. The combination is also expected to create jobs and upskilling opportunities, leveraging the expertise of G2’s team.
G2’s operations will be rebranded as Menzies Aviation, with integration beginning immediately. Menzies plans to implement global standards for training, safety, sustainability, and technology across all new operations to ensure a smooth transition for employees, customers and partners.
