CSI Leasing, Inc. (CSI), an independent equipment leasing company, has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Aeroservicios, a provider of ground support equipment (GSE) for nearly 30 years.
Based in Miami, Aeroservicios specialises in reconditioning and overhauling used GSE to a near-new standard, as well as selling, hiring and leasing a wide range of new and used GSE and parts from leading manufacturers. Its equipment includes baggage carts and tractors, loaders, catering trucks, dollies, forklifts, lavatory carts, stairs, tow bars, utility vehicles and more. Aeroservicios USA, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Gabriel Serrano and his father. Serrano will continue in his role as Chief Executive Officer.
Alongside managing pre-owned GSE, Aeroservicios will also refurbish and remarket CSI’s off-lease equipment. Through this partnership, CSI and Aeroservicios will deliver high-quality GSE with flexible financing options to ground handling companies, commercial and cargo airlines, and other industry specialists.
The company currently operates two full workshops and a storage yard in Miami covering a total of 579,600 ft², together with a 19,000 ft² workshop in Guatemala.
