Trax, a provider of paperless aviation maintenance and engineering software, has announced the successful implementation of an expanded suite of its eMobility applications by Air Europa Express.
Air Europa Express currently uses several of eMobility applications from Trax to access real-time information for line maintenance tasks. Until recently, however, the airline relied on a paper-based technical and cabin logbook. Expanding its use of eMobility solutions to include the applications within Trax’s Electronic Logbook has brought significant and immediate improvements to operational efficiency, data accuracy, and maintenance processes across its Boeing 737 fleet.
The deployment also makes Air Europa Express the first operator to implement Electronic Logbook from Trax under European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations, demonstrating regulatory confidence in Trax’s digital solutions and highlighting the potential for wider adoption of mobile maintenance tools among European operators. Trax’s Electronic Logbook suite has already been used for many years by operators regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
