Flydocs has signed a five-year agreement with Air Atlanta Icelandic (Air Atlanta). The Iceland-based charter and ACMI airline will now adopt Flydocs’ Digital Records Management solution across its fleet of 17 aircraft.
The partnership gives Air Atlanta Icelandic direct access to flydocs’ world-class software. The system will be fully integrated with TRAX, the airline’s existing M&E platform. This step will sharpen operational efficiency and improve overall fleet management.
Moreover, the deal reflects a growing shift in aviation towards smarter, digital-first processes. Airlines are under pressure to cut costs, save time and comply with increasingly strict regulations. By moving away from traditional paper-based methods, Air Atlanta Icelandic aims to streamline maintenance oversight and ensure real-time compliance.
Commenting on the agreement, Thormundur Sigurbjarnason, Vice President of Maintenance at Air Atlanta Icelandic, underlined the significance of the collaboration. He said the partnership demonstrates a shared vision to deliver stronger value to customers. As a trusted wide-body operator with decades of experience, the airline expects flydocs’ digital expertise to help it meet a wide range of global demands more effectively.
At the same time, the partnership marks another milestone for flydocs. The company continues to position itself as the go-to provider of digital records and asset management solutions for the aviation sector. Its focus on innovation and seamless integration with existing systems has made it a preferred choice for airlines looking to modernise their maintenance operations.
In essence, the agreement is about more than technology. It is about efficiency, compliance and long-term reliability. With flydocs on board, Air Atlanta Icelandic strengthens its ability to serve diverse markets while maintaining the highest operational standards.
