IBA, the aviation intelligence and advisory company, has appointed Dr Stuart Hatcher as its new Chief Data Officer. He will hold this position alongside his current role as Chief Economist. In his expanded role, Dr Hatcher will unite his vast industry experience with his analytical approach to data. As Chief Data Officer, he will harness IBA’s extensive data assets to provide intelligence-led insights for the aviation community. Working closely with the Sales, Data, and Advisory teams, he will focus on improving data coverage, quality, and analytical depth. His goal is to ensure IBA continues to meet the highest standards of precision and relevance for its global client base.
Dr Hatcher’s priorities include refining data processes, enhancing product innovation, and ensuring intelligence-led insights reach the wider market. He will also continue to nurture IBA’s strong industry relationships through active engagement at major aviation events. A Senior ISTAT Certified Appraiser, he remains a respected voice in aviation economics and data strategy.
