HAVELSAN has achieved EASA Level D certification for the Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) developed for Turkish Airlines’ training infrastructure. The A320 FFS was delivered to strengthen the airline’s pilot training capacity and operational capability. Designed to simulate three engine options across both CEO and NEO variants, the simulator provides a high degree of operational flexibility.
The simulator features HAVELSAN’s in-house STARVIEW Collimated Display System, which has received EASA Level D certification for the first time. This milestone represents a significant achievement for HAVELSAN’s proprietary simulation technologies.
Installed at Turkish Airlines’ training centre in Istanbul, the A320 FFS is actively supporting pilot training operations. With this delivery, Turkish Airlines now operates three A320 Full Flight Simulators manufactured by HAVELSAN.
