Boeing has announced the appointment of Fahad Al Mheiri as Vice President for the Middle East Gulf and North Africa, effective from January 2026. Based in Dubai, Al Mheiri will be responsible for advancing Boeing’s strategic priorities and strengthening partnerships across the region in support of national ambitions to grow and develop the aerospace sector.
Al Mheiri joins Boeing from Raytheon Emirates, where he most recently served as Managing Director. He brings extensive executive leadership experience and deep regional knowledge, having built a career across the energy, space and defence sectors. He succeeds Kuljit Ghata-Aura, who has moved into a new executive role within Boeing. The company confirmed that its operations in Saudi Arabia will continue to be managed separately under the leadership of country vice president Asaad Aljomoai.
Boeing has a long-established presence across the Middle East and North Africa, employing more than 700 people in the region. The company supports over 30 commercial airline customers and works with 12 armed forces, reflecting the breadth of its civil and defence activities. In addition to its operational footprint, Boeing sources materials and components from a range of strategic partners across the region, including Strata and EPI in the United Arab Emirates, reinforcing its commitment to local industrial participation and supply chain development.
An Emirati national, Al Mheiri holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University. His appointment underlines Boeing’s continued investment in local leadership and its focus on building long-term, sustainable relationships with governments, industry partners and customers. His background in managing complex operations and driving growth is expected to further strengthen Boeing’s collaboration with regional stakeholders, while supporting ongoing investment in local infrastructure, research and innovation.
