COMTRONIC has been selected by Deutsche Aircraft to supply the complete overhead panel for the 40-seat D328eco regional turboprop, an aircraft designed with a strong focus on sustainability, efficiency and operational simplicity. The selection further strengthens COMTRONIC’s position in next-generation cockpit design.
The overhead panel is a central element of the D328eco cockpit architecture, integrating critical aircraft systems through intuitive, pilot-friendly ergonomics. COMTRONIC’s solution draws on advanced optical engineering and robust design to deliver high levels of reliability and precision, even under demanding operating conditions.
The scope of supply includes illuminated panels and sub-panels with optimised day and night readability, custom control units and keypads tailored specifically to the D328eco cockpit, and advanced optical and photometric engineering to ensure uniform illumination, effective anti-glare performance and optional night vision imaging system compatibility. The programme also covers full qualification documentation in line with RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD and aerospace certification standards, as well as ongoing technical support throughout development and the industrial ramp-up phase.
