Regional aircraft lessor TrueNoord has delivered three new Airbus A220-300 aircraft to Breeze Airways under a long-term sale-and-leaseback agreement. Delivered in February 2026, the deal marks TrueNoord’s first Airbus transaction and introduces the largest aircraft type to its portfolio.
The A220-300 supports Breeze’s strategy to move towards a single-type fleet while expanding services between underserved Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Its seat capacity and lower operating costs allow the airline to operate routes that larger narrow-body aircraft cannot sustain.
TrueNoord says the agreement also reflects its strategy of investing in modern aircraft that support long-term efficiency and financial resilience for airline partners. Breeze Airways currently operates across 86 cities in the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.
