Regional aircraft lessor TrueNoord has delivered three new Airbus A220-300 aircraft to Breeze Airways under a long-term sale-and-leaseback agreement. Delivered in February 2026, the deal marks TrueNoord’s first Airbus transaction and introduces the largest aircraft type to its portfolio.
The A220-300 supports Breeze’s strategy to move towards a single-type fleet while expanding services between underserved Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Its seat capacity and lower operating costs allow the airline to operate routes that larger narrowbody aircraft cannot sustain.
TrueNoord says the agreement also reflects its strategy of investing in modern aircraft that support long-term efficiency and financial resilience for airline partners. Breeze Airways currently operates across 86 cities in the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.
