Ramco Systems has announced the successful go-live of its Aviation Suite at Korean Air’s engine maintenance centre. The airline, South Korea’s flag carrier and largest carrier, will use the platform to streamline complex operations, enhance productivity and support the expansion of its engine maintenance capabilities with a scalable, future-ready solution.
Ramco Aviation Suite enables seamless collaboration and process integration across engine maintenance, finance, customer support and billing. The system also integrates with internal and external platforms, including Korean Air’s automated storage and retrieval system for efficient warehouse management, while connecting the airline with customers and suppliers through industry-standard technologies to ensure interoperability and scalability. In addition, the suite provides real-time intelligence on engine maintenance operations, delivering data-driven insights into capacity versus production throughput, cost and revenue metrics, and overall profit and loss performance.
In a significant move towards paperless operations, more than 400 mechanics and engineers at Korean Air now use Ramco’s Mechanic Anywhere mobile application to execute maintenance tasks digitally. This removes manual bottlenecks, reduces queue times and optimises workflows, resulting in faster turnaround and improved operational efficiency.
Ramco Aviation Suite will also serve as a core digital platform for operations at Korean Air’s new engine maintenance cluster, scheduled to open in 2027 as Asia’s largest engine MRO hub.
