L2 Aviation has acquired Advance Aero, a precision machining and sheet metal fabrication specialist based in Mooresville, Indiana, in a move to strengthen its vertical integration and manufacturing capabilities.
The deal forms part of L2 Aviation’s long-term strategy to expand control over key elements of its supply chain while enhancing support for aircraft installation and kitting operations. By bringing these capabilities in-house, the company aims to improve production efficiency and deliver more comprehensive, turnkey solutions to its global customer base.
Advance Aero brings decades of experience in aerospace-grade machining and fabrication, supporting a wide range of complex components and assemblies. The company has established a strong reputation for quality, responsiveness and technical expertise, making it a natural fit within L2 Aviation’s expanding manufacturing and integration framework.
Following the acquisition, Advance Aero will operate within L2 Aviation’s manufacturing organisation, primarily supporting internal programmes while continuing to serve its existing customers. The integration is expected to strengthen L2’s ability to scale operations and reinforce its ongoing investment in domestic manufacturing.
Integration efforts are already in progress, with a focus on aligning systems, processes and quality standards across both organisations. L2 Aviation has indicated that maintaining operational continuity and performance throughout the transition remains a key priority.
