HAECO, a global provider of aircraft engineering and maintenance services, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Satair to explore the development of a consignment supply programme to support its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) operations.
The MoU reflects a shared intention to assess a structured supply chain solution aimed at improving material availability and supporting efficient maintenance operations. It underscores both companies’ commitment to deepening collaboration and responding to the evolving demands of the aviation aftermarket.
Under the proposed programme, HAECO and Satair will work together to define product scope, inventory positioning and logistical requirements. The objective is to develop a tailored solution that streamlines material management and enhances supply chain reliability, ensuring components are strategically positioned to support HAECO’s operations. The initiative builds on a long-standing partnership and represents a further step towards more integrated material support.
Dr. Christian Pinter, General Manager, Group Procurement at HAECO Group, commented on the partnership: “This MoU reflects our ongoing focus on strengthening supply chain resilience and supporting our MRO activities with reliable material solutions. We look forward to working closely with Satair to explore how this collaboration can enhance our operational performance and deliver value to our customers.”
Tommy Hughes, Chief Commercial Officer at Satair, said the company was pleased to sign the MoU with HAECO and to continue building on their long-standing partnership: “By exploring a consignment-based solution, we aim to further support HAECO’s operations with improved flexibility, availability, and efficiency across their supply chain.”
