ST Engineering has disclosed that Jeffrey Lam will assume the role of Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer from June 1st 2026. He will step down from his current positions as Group Chief Operating Officer (Operations Excellence) and President of Commercial Aerospace. In his new capacity, Lam will continue reporting to Vincent Chong, Group President and Chief Executive Officer, and will retain his seat on the Group Executive Committee.
Lam brings more than two decades of leadership experience across the aerospace sector and has played a pivotal role in advancing the division’s operational performance, customer partnerships and growth initiatives. His deep industry expertise and strong track record in driving execution position him well to lead the business through its next phase of development and global expansion.
ST Engineering continues to grow its global footprint, supported by a strong order book and disciplined strategy execution. As the Group expands, the wider scope of its businesses calls for sharper Group-level focus to improve alignment and unlock synergies across the organisation.
As Deputy CEO, Lam will support the Group CEO in driving key enterprise priorities, realising Group-wide synergies and enhancing organisational excellence. He will also oversee the Commercial Aerospace business at the management level.
“This appointment strengthens our leadership bench at the Group level,” stated Vincent Chong. “With his strong track record in business management and leadership, Jeffrey brings the experience and perspectives to advance our strategic priorities and strengthen our organisational capabilities across the Group.”
Concurrently, the Group will appoint Kevin Chow, currently Head of Aerostructures and Systems at Commercial Aerospace, to succeed Lam as President of Commercial Aerospace.
