Azorra has delivered the first of two ATR 42-600 aircraft to Dallas-based public charter carrier JSX, marking the start of a new customer relationship and further strengthening Azorra’s presence in the North American market.
The ATR 42-600’s performance capabilities will allow the carrier to extend its public charter network to thousands of additional airports across the United States, including many that are not served by major airline networks.
“We are pleased to announce the delivery of the first of two ATR 42-600 aircraft on lease to JSX,” said Michael Davis, Chief Marketing Officer at Azorra. “As JSX builds on the momentum of its tenth anniversary, the airline continues to innovate by connecting underserved airports across the United States and enabling travellers to avoid congested airport hubs.
“JSX offers a seamless flying experience, and the addition of these aircraft will create even more travel options for its customers. We value JSX’s vision and look forward to developing this mutually beneficial partnership.”
Jeff Simmons, Chief Financial Officer at JSX, added: “We are looking forward to expanding ATR 42-600 operations as demand for our public charter service continues to grow. Balancing customer experience with fuel efficiency is more important than ever, and we appreciate Azorra’s support as JSX helps shape the future of regional air travel.”
