ABL Aviation, a global independent aircraft investment management firm, has delivered the 16th A220-300 aircraft to Air France.
The Airbus A220-300 is powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1521G-3 engines. It is the first aircraft delivered under a new three-aircraft mandate agreed with Air France and supports the airline’s ongoing fleet renewal strategy and commitment to operating a modern, fuel-efficient narrow-body fleet.
Two additional Airbus A220-300s are scheduled for delivery later this year, increasing ABL Aviation’s total deliveries to Air France to 18 aircraft. The A220-300 is a key part of the airline’s fleet modernisation programme, offering lower fuel consumption, reduced emissions and improved operating economics compared with previous-generation aircraft.
The latest transaction also highlights ABL Aviation’s expertise in structuring and executing phased, multi-aircraft leasing programmes tailored to the requirements of leading global airlines, while supporting customers with flexible, long-term fleet solutions.
