AeroDirect has acquired two CFM56-7B26/3 engines previously operated by US-Bangla Airlines, strengthening its portfolio of high-demand narrow-body engine assets.
The engines are currently undergoing heavy maintenance at Precise Aviation, an AeroDirect affiliate, before being made available to customers across a range of aftermarket services, including leasing, sale, exchange and repair management.
The acquisition forms part of AeroDirect’s strategy to expand its inventory of in-demand engines and provide flexible support to airlines, lessors, maintenance providers and other aftermarket customers.
The company said it is continuing to build its CFM56 portfolio in line with market demand, focusing on assets that offer strong operational value. AeroDirect is also using its proprietary ADREAM artificial intelligence platform to improve asset evaluation, anticipate customer requirements and optimise aftermarket solutions.
