Azorra completed 52 transactions during the second quarter (Q2), reflecting continued momentum across its leasing, trading and portfolio management activities.
During the quarter, Azorra signed and extended leases for nine aircraft and five engines. It acquired eight aircraft, seven engines and one airframe, delivered eight aircraft and seven engines, sold five aircraft and two airframes, and added commitments for 21 additional aircraft to its orderbook.
The company also completed three significant portfolio acquisitions: 12 Airbus A220-300 aircraft from EGYPTAIR; 49 Embraer E-Jets and two CF34-10E engines from Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE); and 13 Embraer E190 airframes and 36 CF34-10E engines from JetBlue.
Azorra further expanded its orderbook through the acquisition of DAE’s eight-aircraft Airbus A220-300 orderbook, two of which have already been delivered to TAAG Angola Airlines. In addition, the company exercised options for 15 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, further strengthening its next-generation fleet portfolio and reinforcing its commitment to meeting growing customer demand worldwide.
