Cebu Pacific has signed a wet lease agreement with Vietnam Airlines to provide one Airbus A320neo for operations in Vietnam during the peak summer travel season.
The Pratt & Whitney-powered aircraft will be based in Ho Chi Minh City and operated by Cebu Pacific pilots and cabin crew from July 15 to September 7, 2026. It will serve domestic routes to Cam Ranh, Phu Quoc, Vinh and Da Nang.
The agreement enables Cebu Pacific to deploy aircraft capacity during a period of lower seasonal demand in the Philippines while supporting growing air travel demand in Vietnam and the wider Southeast Asian market.
The carrier said the deal highlights its ability to provide wet lease services to other airlines. In 2025, Cebu Pacific wet leased two Airbus A320 aircraft to Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier flyadeal during the Middle East’s peak summer season. Earlier, in 2023, it signed a damp lease agreement with Bulgaria Air covering two A320ceo aircraft to support rising travel demand in the Philippines.
