Airbus Helicopters secured an order for eight additional H145 helicopters from Saudi Arabia’s The Helicopter Company (THC), at the Farnborough International Airshow.
The aircraft are scheduled for delivery between 2027 and 2028 under a framework agreement signed at Verticon in 2024, which covers up to 120 Airbus helicopters of various types over a three- to five-year period.
The latest order will support THC’s fleet expansion and optimisation strategy as the operator grows its emergency medical services (EMS) and other mission-critical operations across Saudi Arabia and international markets.
THC said the purchase strengthens its long-standing partnership with Airbus and will enhance operational capabilities while supporting the company’s plans to expand beyond the Kingdom.
THC, a Public Investment Fund-owned company, is Saudi Arabia’s largest commercial helicopter operator.
