Abra Group, the parent company of Avianca, Gol and Wamos Air, has agreed to acquire 20 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, with options and purchase rights that could increase the order to as many as 45 jets.

The first aircraft is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2027.

Abra said the E195-E2 will support its strategy of expanding connectivity across Latin America by adding right-sized capacity for domestic and regional routes while improving fleet flexibility, fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.

The agreement includes ten purchase options and 15 purchase rights, subject to certain conditions.

Chief Executive Adrian Neuhauser said the aircraft will give the group greater flexibility to deploy capacity where demand is strongest while supporting its investment in next-generation, fuel-efficient aircraft as it expands its network across the region.
