Turkish Technic has signed a five-year service and licence agreement with GE Aerospace to provide authorised maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for Data Link Control and Display Units (DCDUs), expanding its avionics support capabilities.

The agreement authorises Turkish Technic to deliver original equipment manufacturer (OEM)-approved DCDU maintenance for domestic and international airline customers from its Istanbul facilities.

As part of the partnership, GE Aerospace will provide dedicated test equipment, OEM parts, technical data and engineering support, enabling Turkish Technic to carry out maintenance to the manufacturer’s standards for cockpit data-link communication systems.

Yasin Birinci, Chief Technical Officer of Turkish Technic, said the agreement strengthens the company’s electronics maintenance capabilities and will improve service availability for airline operators, helping reduce aircraft downtime and enhance fleet performance.
