Safran Landing Systems and Lufthansa Technik have signed a ten-year support and services agreement (SSA) covering landing gear and hydraulic equipment for Airbus A320 family, A330, A340 and A350 aircraft.
Announced at the Farnborough International Airshow, the agreement provides Lufthansa Technik with OEM support for its global MRO operations, including certified spare parts, engineering and technical assistance, and access to the latest maintenance documentation. The partners will also collaborate to optimise maintenance planning, component repairs and operational reliability across Lufthansa Technik’s worldwide network.
The deal will support the expansion of A350 landing gear MRO capabilities at Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services UK in London, while ensuring continued OEM support for A320 family, A330 and A340 landing gear maintenance at the company’s Hamburg facility.
