Embraer posted a record order backlog of US$34.5 billion in the second quarter of 2026, extending seven consecutive quarters of growth. The figure rose 7% from the previous quarter and 16% year-on-year.

Commercial Aviation led the performance, with backlog climbing to US$15.1 billion, up 15%, boosted by Azorra’s order for 15 E195-E2s, which pushed the E2 programme beyond 500 firm orders. The company also confirmed Fuji Dream Airlines as the previously undisclosed customer for two E175s.

Executive Aviation’s backlog increased to US$7.8 billion as the new Praetor 500E and Praetor 600E secured certification from Brazilian, US and European regulators.

Defence & Security recorded the strongest annual growth, with the backlog jumping 42% to US$6.1 billion, driven by the United Arab Emirates’ order for ten C-390 Millennium aircraft, with options for a further ten, marking the type’s entry into the Middle East market.
