Saab has secured an order worth SEK10.1 billion (US$1.0 billion) for two GlobalEye airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft from an undisclosed customer in the Middle East.
The aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2030.
Saab said the order reflects growing international demand for the GlobalEye platform, which provides multi-domain surveillance capabilities across air, land and maritime environments.

Based on the Bombardier Global 6000/6500 business jet, the GlobalEye system combines active and passive sensors to detect and identify airborne, maritime and ground targets over long ranges. Saab said the platform enhances situational awareness and enables the early detection of potential threats by providing real-time information to joint forces.
