Bird Aviation has signed a long-term agreement with easyJet to provide base maintenance services for the airline’s Airbus A320-family fleet.
The contract covers two maintenance lines at Bird Aviation’s facility in Larnaca, Cyprus, for an initial seven-year term, with an option to extend the agreement by a further three years.
The deal formalises and extends the longstanding relationship between the two companies, providing a long-term framework for heavy maintenance services while strengthening the role of Bird Aviation’s Larnaca base in supporting easyJet’s maintenance programme.
Bird Aviation has operated since 2016 and provides EASA-certified maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services. The company employs more than 260 staff and supports several major airlines across Europe and the wider region.
