Willis Lease Finance Corporation (WLFC) has secured a five-year agreement with Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, to provide long-term storage and lease return services for PW1100G-JM, PW1500G, PW1900G, PW4000 and IAE AG V2500 engines.
Under the agreement, WLFC will support Pratt & Whitney’s expanding aftermarket storage requirements from its facilities in Coconut Creek, Florida, and Bridgend, Wales.
The deal extends a decades-long relationship between the companies and follows quality reviews of WLFC subsidiary Willis Engine Repair Center (WERC), as well as recognition of its technical capabilities and maintenance and storage training initiatives. These capabilities are expected to support further expansion of WLFC’s engine storage capacity.
WLFC Chief Executive Officer Austin C. Willis said the agreement reflects Pratt & Whitney’s confidence in the company’s technical expertise, facilities and operational capabilities. He added that close collaboration over the past year had helped align operational requirements and strengthen the partnership.
The agreement supports WLFC’s strategy to expand its integrated aviation services business and strengthen its position as a single-source provider of aviation aftermarket solutions.
