Dviation Technics has been appointed as the line maintenance provider for Riyadh Air at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, supporting the Saudi carrier’s launch into Southeast Asia.
The appointment coincides with Riyadh Air’s inaugural service between Riyadh and Kuala Lumpur, which began on 31 July with a three-times-weekly Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner operation powered by GEnx engines.
Under the agreement, Dviation Technics will provide comprehensive line maintenance services to ensure the aircraft operates safely, reliably and efficiently.
Kuala Lumpur is Riyadh Air’s first destination in Southeast Asia. The airline, backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), is a key part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 strategy to establish Riyadh as a global aviation hub. It plans to serve more than 100 destinations worldwide as it builds its international network.
